Logo Development

Rather than closely matching previous Villainous logos, we drew primary inspiration from Star Wars itself, while still weaving in familiar touches like the tall V and S, serif details, and slanted accents to keep the logo connected to the line's visual language.

Packaging

We designed the Star Wars Villainous packaging to stand apart from its siblings without breaking from the family: deliberate lighting and environmental storytelling bring each character's distinct personality to the forefront while staying true to the Villainous visual language.

Villain Movers

Star Wars Villainous presented a unique challenge: since the villains are largely humanoid, we couldn't rely on dramatic silhouettes to differentiate the movers. Instead, we dove into each character's story and the intricate details of their lightsaber hilts to create movers that felt distinct and exciting for fans.

COMPONENT Design

Star Wars Villainous was the first series I led as Art Director, giving me the opportunity to reshape the Villainous look and feel around the Star Wars universe. Everything from the tokens to the instructions were updated, adding in several new components such as Vehicles, Missions, and Bounties.
